The town's layout adjusted a lot. In 1933, a legislation manufactured streets broader. The Grand Bazaar was cut in 50 percent. A lot of historic buildings were being torn down. They were replaced by huge, straight streets. The old metropolis construction was modified into a grid of crossing streets.
